Kuantan is one of most popular cities in East Coast Malaysian. Kuantan also known as a capital state of Pahang. The history about Kuantan was founded in 1850 by Haji Senik and his followers. This city become capital state when the Pahang Goverment shifted the adminstrive centre from Kuala lipis in 1955. The population in Kuantan are from Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races. There are many famuos things in Kuantan such as production of handicraft, batik, salted fish and keropok. The tourist can also visit many beautiful beach such as Cherating, Batu Buruk or go to Sungai Pandan Waterfall. The new tourism place in Kuantan is Esplaned, people can enjoys beautiful view of Sungai Pahang and they can walks along river bank. Finally if all of you are visit at East Coast the first place you must visit is Kuantan because it can give many exciting experience and sweet memories.
